PLEASE NOTE: If finances are restricting you from joining, PLEASE talk to us. We don’t want that to be a reason a boy or family doesn’t join. We are establishing scholarship funds through the gifts of generous individuals who want all boys to have the opportunity to join Trail Life USA.
Annual costs:
- TLUSA youth registration ($33.25 per youth Trailman), covers national registration fees, insurance, etc. This is completed by a parent or guardian online. If you would like to join, let us know your name and email address, so we can send you an online registration link.
- Troop 222 Dues ($50 per Trailman, capped at $150/max per family), covers TLUSA home office fees, advancement awards, meeting supplies, troop equipment, and other operating expenses. We will supplement our budget through limited fundraising. We ask that families please pay dues within one month of joining the troop. Dues can be paid via cash/check (made to Restoration Church) or via Venmo (@TLUSA222). www.venmo.com/tlusa222
- TLUSA adult registration ($38 per registered adult), which covers the same as youth Trailmen, as well as annual youth protection assessment (criminal background checks, supplemental evaluation processes, and youth protection training). It takes a lot of leaders to make the troop run well, so we'd love to have you join us!
Activity fees:
- Dependent on scope, distance, & direct costs involved. Generally, to be FREE, or in the neighborhood of $10-40 for a camp-out, rock-climbing activity, etc. Week long summer camps, high adventure trips, etc. will obviously come at a higher cost.
